Demetria Elaine Bass is a native of Jacksonville, Florida but has lived in many areas throughout the United States of America and abroad. Her travels have taken her to areas such as Keflivik, Iceland and Diego Garcia, B.I.O.T. where she accepted her call into the ministry in June 1991 while serving in the U.S. Navy.

Pastor Demetria is a child of the Most High King and serves as the Executive Pastor of Praise Covenant Christian Center. Also, Pastor Demetria is responsible for teaching the Phase I and Phase II licensing track of all new ministers at Praise Covenant Christian Center. She has a straightforward approach of teaching and breaking down the Word of God in such a way that everyone can enjoy, understand, and apply her teachings to their life.

The natural mother of one son, Christopher, and the spiritual mother of many, Pastor Demetria is known from Washington, D.C. to Toledo, Ohio as the barefoot preacher.

Her motto is, “I don’t want anything to hinder my praising the Lord”. Her fireball style of preaching gives credence to the fact that she lives what she preaches.
