DISCOVERING CLASS: 100
As you are about to discover, membership at Praise Covenant is more than getting your name on the roll and the right hand of fellowship. At Praise Covenant, membership leads to partnership, which leads to participation. This simply means that we have created a plan, which will afford you the opportunity to discover God’s plan for your life. In addition, you will develop to maturity in Christ, then begin doing and serving in the ministry that best matches the distinct way God has designed you, and ultimately glorify God by delivering the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Discovery Class is the starting point and basic introduction to our church family. This class is designed to clearly explain our vision, mission, purpose, beliefs, strategy and more.

DEVELOPING CLASS: 200
The development and nurture of a newborn Christian in their spiritual walk is very important and we here at Praise Covenant do not take this responsibility lightly. Therefore, this class will help you learn and put into practice the basic life-skills and habits of a growing Christ-follower. The goal of this class is to teach you the importance of having a daily time with God, honoring God with giving, and developing your relationship with God, small groups, and others.

DOING CLASS: 300
God has created us to be people who are doers of the Word, not just hearers only. The happiest people are those who are busy for God and are doing what He has called them to do. In essence, as we begin to look beyond ourselves and commit to serving others, we experience the pleasure of God. Your Praise Covenant family is committed to helping you find a ministry that best matches the unique way God has made you and to allow you to start doing what He has called and purposed you to do.

This class is designed to help you explore the many ministry opportunities here at Praise Covenant and to discover your S.H.A.P.E. for ministry. S-H-A-P-E is an acrostic that describes your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. If you already know some areas of ministry you would like to explore then please speak with the pastors or a leader. We will allow you to test drive some areas to see which ministries are a good fit for you.

DEPARTING CLASS: 400
The Great Commission commands us to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Our life mission in our community, city, state, and world is to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. God honors those who depart (go) and share the difference He has made in their lives with others. In this class, you will learn how to prepare your testimony (story) by describing these four times in your life:

• What my life was like before becoming a Christian
• What caused me to realize I needed to become a Christian
• How I became a Christian
• How my life is different since becoming a Christian
