At Praise Covenant Christian Center, we are purposed for praise and focused on family. Pastors Jeff and Demetria Bass founded Praise Covenant Christian Center in 1996. During that time, Pastor Jeff and Pastor Dee were raising their son, Christopher, but they knew that they had another purpose besides being parents and that purpose was "to raise up a generation (priesthood) of praisers who will evoke the presence of the Lord through victorious praise." Their love for Jesus, heart to reach the lost and desire to raise up a generation of "praisers" ignites their vision for Praise Covenant Christian Center.

During our ten year existence there have been a few challenges, however, there have been more blessings than we can count and yet it is our heart’s desire to serve Jesus Christ in all that we do no matter what season we are going through. We’re excited to be reaching out and developing relationships with the church and un-churched, saved and unsaved, ultimately leading people to the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. There’s always a question that we ask, "What Would Jesus Do?" Well, Jesus would nurture and perfect us in the unity of the faith and train us how to exalt, edify, and glorify God the Father through victorious praise. He would eventually send us out universally to proclaim and praise the name of the Lord Most High, the only one that can bring us out of the darkness into the marvelous light. We are happy to be doing what God has called us and equipped us to do.
